Safeguarding Policy Statement
The City Classroom abides by the implementation of The Spark Arts for Children's Safeguarding Policy, as the lead partner and manager of The City Classroom
We are committed to creating safe environments where children and young people can enjoy rewarding and stimulating experiences.
We recognise that children and young people should be listened to and heard, valued and respected as individuals, respected for their identity and uniqueness, encouraged and praised, and involved in decisions as appropriate - regardless of gender, ethnicity, social class, disability, sexual identity, language or religious beliefs.
We take any suspicion, disclosure or allegation of abuse very seriously, and the company's Child, Young People & Vulnerable Adults Safeguarding Procedures and Guidelines sets out the supportive, confidential and professional nature of how suspicion, disclosure or allegations of abuse are dealt with, both within The Spark and with regards to appropriate statutory authorities.
We believe that the value of a child, young people and vulnerable adults safeguarding policy lies not merely in its intention but in its practical delivery. The company has created written Procedures and Guidelines detailing how this policy will be delivered.
