infuseDANCE are a multidisciplinary performance and education company using dance, film and photography to bring people and communities together through inspiring and creative projects. Creating work through performance, film, photography, devising processes and workshops the company have been a highly successful driving force through the Midlands and across the UK bringing their expertise to theatres, schools (special & mainstream), arts centres, pupil referral units, prisons and hospitals. Their experience has meant that they are regularly asked to work with hard to reach groups, using the arts so that participants can explore their creativity and recognise their artistic potential.
What We Offer
One off workshops or longer term residencies in dance, film and photography.
DANCE - Accessible dance workshops often with a focus on participant creativity. Workshops are tailored to the needs of the group and usually break down into the following categories:
Boys dance - Highly physical sessions aimed at engaging reluctant learners, creating a space for physical empowerment and artistic expression.
Special education - Inclusive workshops that respond to participants needs, working with all ages across MLD and PMLD.
Mainstream education - Working across all ages from nursery to university.
Community groups - We offer a broad spectrum of community sessions i.e. cross generational, family, parent and child workshops and can cater to all ages/needs.
FILM - Workshops to develop participants understanding of digital film as an artform, covering both technical and artistic techniques. Suitable for a wide variety of groups in both special and mainstream settings. Projects can aim to create one group film or a series of smaller pupil edited films. Workshops can also incorporate dance as a subject to capture. Projects can result in a projected screening of the finished films.
PHOTOGRAPHY - Working with participants to develop their understanding of photography as an artform covering both technical and artistic techniques. Suitable for a wide variety of groups in both special and mainstream settings. Workshops can also incorporate dance as a subject to capture. Projects can result in the production of an exhibition/gallery of participants work.
CPD - School staff CPD workshops exploring creativity in education through dance, film or photography.
