'Discover' Mono-printing

Activity Description

The students will have the opportunity to explore printmaking through Mono-printing and paper folding creating installations.
The day will be inspired by Leicester Print Workshop members Exhibition 'Antiphony' invited to explore the idea of response through time. The exhibition demonstrates ways in which printmaking is not just a method of production but also a way of thinking, through an engagement with cross disciplinary art forms and ideas; how printmaking thinking and processes inform and are influenced by other art forms, such as drawing, sound, performance, installation and books. To achieve the award students will take part in an artist conversation, explore in creating their own prints, ending the day with a mini exhibition and conversation on what they have enjoyed and learnt throughout the day.
